Why all the great minds are drawn to Hinduism and Indian philosophy?
We all know that Max Muller, Madame Blavatsky, Dr. Annie Besant and the like were strong devotees of Indian philosophy and religion. 'Beatles' were also the disciples of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Yehudi Menuhin practiced yoga at the foot of BKS Iyengar. Michael Jackson believes Deepak Chopra as his 'guru'. Dr.David Frawley is a peerless Vedic scholar and a convert to Hinduism. Richard Gere is a convert Buddhism and the rock star Tina Turner too early to the Buddhist meditations. and more Westerners are increasingly attracted to Hinduism and Indian philosophy. But why? ! ? !
People like to dablle in the exotic and different, regardless if it's good for them or not. Where we talk about, I would say that is more than an exploration. If you havn't noticed, most of these people are very poor. Often it is the richest of people forget where they come from. Religion is much more individual interpretative experience wnough if you have money to make it so.
